Your competitors aren't smarter. They just stopped doing it by hand.

I take the process work off your desk and run it for you. I map how work actually moves through your shop, take out the steps that don't need to be there, and keep the rest running: requests to quotes the same day, follow-up that doesn't depend on anyone's memory, admin that stops eating your evenings. AI goes in only where it clearly helps — it's the means, not the product. More revenue out of the demand you already have, a bigger share of your local market, and enough time back to work on the business instead of in it. Then the part your customers see: a website that does things you didn't know a small-business site could do, kept up to date as you change, and promo videos and social clips your own team can put to work. Run and improved for as long as you want me on it.

A conversation about how your week actually runs. No slides.
If it isn't a fit, I'll say so on the call.

A small workshop counter in daylight: an owner's hands at a laptop showing a simple business dashboard, with tools, a clipboard and stock boxes alongside.

The opportunity

You're the bottleneck. That's a systems problem, not an effort problem.

You're computer literate. You run payroll, you use a POS, you answer email. That was enough for twenty years. What changed is that a set of tools now exists that can read, write, schedule, quote, follow up, and reconcile — for a fraction of what those hours cost you today. The businesses capturing that aren't the ones with the biggest budgets.

They're the ones who stopped trying to run it themselves. Every owner your size has the same drawer of half-used software: the CRM nobody updates, the booking tool that never got set up, the accounting file three months behind. Buying the tool was never the hard part — running it is a job, and the person it landed on is you, at nine at night, after a full day of actual work.

That's what I take. Not a strategy deck and a login — the ongoing work, off your desk and onto mine, with the systems behind it built properly so it stays that way.

Services

Systems built for how your business actually works

Buy one, buy all four. Most owners start with whichever one is costing them the most right now — and part of what you're paying for is my judgement about which one that is, and what order the rest should follow in.

Systems that win you more work

Most local businesses lose more jobs to a quote that sat for days, or a follow-up nobody sent, than to price. The fix starts with the process — who handles a request, when, and what happens next — with AI added where it saves real time, on the demand you're already paying to attract.

  • New requests captured and routed without re-typing
  • Quotes out the same day, priced off your own rate card
  • Follow-up on quiet leads and quotes, without you
  • Old customers reactivated on a schedule
  • Reviews requested when the customer is happiest

Systems that buy back your week

The administrative work that has to happen and was never the reason you started this: the inbox, the calendar, the confirmations, the chasing. Automation does the lifting, a human stays in charge of anything that matters, and you get the hours back to work on the business.

  • Inbox triaged, drafted, and routed
  • Scheduling, confirmations, and reminders handled
  • Intake and paperwork that fills itself in
  • Reporting that lands in your inbox, not a dashboard you never open
  • Job, customer and product profitability made visible

Websites that keep getting better

A website that works for the business instead of sitting there: visitors get a price, book a time, check on their job and pay, without anyone picking up the phone. Designed and built properly, then kept current and improved for as long as you want — not launched once and left to go stale.

  • Design, rebuild, fast and mobile-first
  • Instant quotes, live booking, customer portals, payments
  • Features you didn't know a site your size could have — see them
  • Updates whenever you need them: send the change, I make it
  • Storefronts, ordering systems and custom software underneath

Promo videos & social clips

Short, polished video your own people can put to work — on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, your website, and in paid ads. Made from what you already have, cut to every size each platform wants, and handed over ready to post.

  • Promo videos that say what you do in under a minute
  • A steady batch of short social clips: offers, seasons, before-and-afters
  • Every size: vertical, square, feed, and widescreen
  • Captions, cover stills and draft post copy included
  • Yours outright — for your staff, your agency, or you — see one

And your books, in about a tenth of the time. I'd rather build you the system than become your bookkeeper. You keep your own books — they just stop costing you a weekend a month, because the categorising, the matching and the chasing happen before you sit down. Same approach as everything above: the system does the repetitive part, you keep the judgement and the control. I'll take the work over instead if you'd rather, but that's the exception, not the offer.

Websites & updates

A website that does things you didn't know a small business could have.

Most local sites are a phone number, a few photos and an "about us" nobody has touched in three years. Yours can quote, book, answer, sell and keep customers in the loop — on its own, around the clock — and it keeps getting better after launch instead of going stale.

Instant quotes

A visitor answers a few questions and gets a price range off your own rate card. The request lands in your system ready to confirm, not in an inbox to retype.

Booking against your real calendar

Customers pick a time that's actually open, pay a deposit if you want one, and get the confirmation and reminders automatically.

A customer portal

One link per customer: job status, photos, documents, invoices and pay-online. Fewer "just checking in" emails, and you look bigger than you are.

An assistant that knows your business

Answers visitors' questions at 11pm from your own services, hours, service area and policies — and hands anything it isn't sure of to you instead of guessing.

Found by AI search, not just Google

More customers now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI answers "who does this near me." Your site is built so those tools have accurate facts about you to work from.

Live from your own systems

Menu, inventory, availability and specials pulled straight from your POS or spreadsheet, so the site is never the thing that's out of date.

Galleries that fill themselves

Snap before-and-after photos on the job. Once you approve them, they appear on the site, sorted by service and by town.

Reviews and referrals on autopilot

Your best reviews shown live, review requests timed to the happy moment, and a referral program that tracks who sent whom.

English and Spanish

A full Spanish version for the part of Central Florida that would rather read it that way, kept in step with the English one every time it changes.

Updates are part of it, not an afterthought. New price, new photo, new service, holiday hours, a landing page for the offer you're about to run — email me the change and I make it. No ticket queue, no agency invoice for editing a phone number. And the site gets better on purpose: I watch what's working, and add the next feature when it's worth building. Which of the features above fit your business is part of the discovery call.

Promo videos & social clips

Video your own team can post, boost and run as ads.

Short video is what stops the scroll, and it's the thing most small businesses never get around to. I make promo videos and a steady supply of social clips, cut to every size each platform wants, and hand them over ready to use — to your staff, your agency, or you.

  • Promo videos. Thirty to sixty seconds that say what you do, who it's for and how to reach you — for ads, your website and your Google Business Profile.
  • Social clips. A regular batch of short vertical clips: this month's offer, the seasonal push, a before-and-after, a quick tip that shows you know your trade.
  • Made from what you have. Phone footage from the job, product photos, your logo, your own voice or a professional narrator.
  • Ready for an ad team. Vertical, square, feed and widescreen cuts; captions burned in for silent scrolling; versions with and without music; cover stills; draft post copy.
  • Yours outright. Licensed music, source files and every cut belong to you. Nothing goes up under your name until you've approved it.
The one I made for this business. Forty seconds, vertical, narrated, with a matching set of feed and story stills. I make these for my own brands today, which is how I know what it takes to make one that gets watched to the end.

Software & websites

If the software you need doesn't exist, I'll write it.

Most small businesses bend their operation around a product built for somebody else — paying monthly for nine features to get the two they need, and keeping the rest in a spreadsheet. Building it properly is cheaper than it used to be, you own it at the end instead of renting it forever, and I can keep running it for you afterwards.

Storefronts & online ordering

Sell what you make without handing a platform a cut of every order and a wall between you and your own customer list.

  • Product pages, cart, checkout, and payments
  • Pickup, delivery, and local-only ordering rules
  • Order notifications straight to the shop floor
  • Your customer and sales data stays yours

Purchasing & ordering systems

The internal side: what you buy, from whom, at what price, and who approved it — instead of a text message to a vendor and an invoice that surprises you later.

  • Purchase orders with approval and spend limits
  • Vendor price lists and reorder points
  • Receiving checked against what was ordered
  • Job costing — what a job spent, while it's still running

Databases & catalogs

The spreadsheet that three people edit and nobody trusts, turned into one system that is actually the record — searchable, current, and hard to break.

  • Product and service catalogs with real pricing
  • Inventory, equipment, parts, and serial numbers
  • Customer, patient, or client records with history
  • Imported and cleaned up from what you have today

Custom software & internal tools

The piece that only your business needs. Usually small, usually the thing everyone complains about, and usually the reason three other systems don't talk to each other.

  • Scheduling, dispatch, and route sheets
  • Intake and quoting built to your own rate card
  • Integrations between systems that don't speak
  • Dashboards and reports for the numbers you actually check

Built for Central Florida, and yours to keep. I work on-site with owners in Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Orange counties, so I can watch the work happen before I write a line of it. Everything I build is documented and owned by you outright — no per-seat licence, nothing that stops working if you stop working with me. Whether I go on running it afterwards is your call, not a condition.

How it works

Four steps. No mystery, no contract you can't get out of.

Step One

Discovery call

You and me. We walk through your week: what eats the time, what gets dropped, what you keep meaning to get to. No slides.

Step Two

Service plan & quote

I spend several hours afterward writing up exactly which services I'd take on, in what order, at what price. Costed and sequenced, delivered within five business days.

Step Three

Set up

I build and stand up whatever the service needs — the software, the accounts, the process. Priority order, fastest payback first. You see working output every week, not a status report.

Step Four

I run it

Then it's mine to operate, month to month, and you stop thinking about it. Everything stays documented and owned by you — take it in-house whenever you want.

Where the money is

Three levers. Every business has at least two.

Which ones apply to you is exactly what the discovery call is for — but this is the shape of nearly every client.

Grow revenue

Sell more to the demand you already have before spending a dollar on new demand.

  • Get every request to a quote the same day
  • Fix the hand-offs that leave quotes sitting for days
  • Systematic follow-up on the ones who went quiet
  • Reactivate old customers who simply forgot about you

Cut expense

Not layoffs — the invisible spend and the hours going into work nobody should be doing.

  • Kill the overlapping software subscriptions
  • Automate the data entry between systems that don't talk
  • Catch billing and vendor errors before they're paid
  • Reduce the cost of everything you currently outsource

Buy back time

The lever owners underrate. Your hours are the scarcest input in the business.

  • Get out of the inbox and out of the spreadsheets
  • Stop being the bottleneck on every approval
  • Close the books without losing a weekend
  • Make the business run when you're not in it

In practice

Four services. Yours probably needs two of them.

This is the concrete answer to "what would you actually do for me." Every one of these is something I run today — on my own companies, with my own money on the line.

Your workflow, streamlined

Most businesses run on a process nobody designed: the same order typed into three systems, a quote waiting on one person's sign-off, a spreadsheet only one person understands.

  • I map how work actually moves through your business, step by step
  • Duplicate steps and needless hand-offs come out
  • Bottlenecks get fixed where they start
  • AI goes in only where it clearly helps — and you approve what it drafts

Quotes that don't sit for days

Most owners price jobs at the kitchen table after dinner, which is why quotes sit for days and the follow-up happens by hand — or not at all.

  • The quoting steps mapped, and the hand-offs that stall them taken out
  • Priced off your own rate card, not a guess
  • Where it helps, AI drafts from your job notes — you review and send
  • Follow-up on unanswered quotes runs on a schedule, not on memory

The inbox stops being your job

The two hours after close that nobody pays you for: triage, confirmations, chasing the people who went quiet, asking for the review you earned three weeks ago.

  • Mail sorted, drafted, and routed by what it actually is
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders sent automatically
  • Systematic follow-up on leads that went cold
  • Review requests timed to when the customer is happiest

Your books, in a tenth of the time

The one I've run longest on my own businesses. Most owners lose a weekend a month to this, or pay someone to do it late and badly. Built properly, the month closes in an evening — and you're the one closing it, so you still know your own numbers.

  • Transactions categorised and matched before you open the file
  • Unpaid invoices chased on a schedule, politely, without you
  • Which jobs, customers and products actually made money
  • Duplicate subscriptions and vendor errors surfaced
  • A Monday email with the numbers that actually matter

I'd rather show you than tell you. I don't have a wall of client logos — I have these services running my own companies right now, and I'll walk you through them live on the discovery call. That's a harder thing to fake than a case study, and it's the honest answer to "what have you actually done?"

Jeremy Joslin

Who you're hiring

Jeremy Joslin

I'm not an agency and you won't be handed to a junior. You work with me directly.

My background is an MBA plus more than a decade of building and investing in entrepreneurial ventures — so I understand what it's like when the business is your own money and your own name on the door.

None of this is theoretical for me. I run these same services on my own companies every day, which is the difference between a process that demos well and one that still works in month six when nobody is watching it.

  • Jeremy Joslin, MBA
  • 10+ years building and investing in small businesses and startups
  • Hands-on operator of these systems, daily — not a reseller
  • My own companies run on these systems — bookkeeping, inbox, reporting
  • Websites, promo videos and social clips made for my own brands
I take a small number of clients at a time, because these are ongoing services and my week is finite. If yours isn't a fit, I'd rather say so on the call than take the fee.

Priced after the discovery call

Questions

Straight answers

Do you do the work, or just tell me how to do it?

I do the work. That's the whole difference between this and hiring a consultant: you're not buying a recommendation and a to-do list, you're handing over a job. The books get kept current, the workflow gets rebuilt, the quotes go out — by me, on an ongoing basis, with me answerable when they don't.

The one exception is the service plan at the front, which is deliberately a plan and nothing more, so you can see exactly what you'd be handing over before you hand over anything.

What happens on the discovery call?

We go through how your business runs in a normal week: what eats the time, what gets dropped, what you keep meaning to get to. If there's a fit, a written service plan and quote follows within five business days, and you keep it whether or not you hand me a single thing. If there isn't, I'll tell you on the call.

Can you build a real system, or just a website?

A real system. Storefronts, purchasing and ordering, product catalogs, inventory and customer databases, scheduling and dispatch, and one-off internal tools — written for your operation rather than adapted from somebody else's. A website is often the front door to that, but it's rarely the whole job.

If an off-the-shelf product genuinely does what you need, I'll tell you to buy it. The case for building is when you're paying monthly for nine features to get two, or when the important half of the operation still lives in a spreadsheet.

What happens to my website after it launches?

It keeps getting updated. Email me the change — a new price, new photos, a new service, holiday hours, a page for this month's offer — and I make it. No ticket system, no per-edit invoice from an agency. Beyond the small changes, I keep adding to it: the next useful feature, a Spanish version, a booking flow, a customer portal, as each one becomes worth building.

Can you make videos for our own ads and social media?

Yes. I make promo videos and short social clips built to be handed to whoever runs your marketing — your own staff, an outside agency, or you on a Sunday night. Every piece comes in the sizes each platform wants, with captions, cover stills and draft post copy, and the files and music licences are yours to use however you like.

They're made from what you already have: phone footage from the job, product photos, your logo, your voice or a professional narrator. Nothing is posted under your name until you've approved it.

Who owns what you build, and what if we part ways?

You own it. The code, the data, and the accounts are yours, documented and handed over at the end of the build. There's no per-seat license and nothing stops working if you decide not to keep me on. Ongoing support exists because some owners want it, not because the system needs me to survive.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can describe how your business runs on a normal Tuesday, that's the whole input I need. Nothing gets handed back to you as a project to figure out — that's the entire point of buying a service rather than software.

Is this going to replace my employees?

That's almost never the play in a business your size. Your people are already stretched; the goal is to take the repetitive work off their plate so the same team can handle more volume without you hiring. Most often I'm replacing the work you'd otherwise do yourself at night, or the hire you were dreading having to make.

Is this just AI with extra steps?

AI is how a one-person firm can deliver these services at this price — it is not the product. You're buying an outcome: fewer steps, quotes out the door, books current. Often the highest-return fix has no AI in it at all — a pricing change, a vendor renegotiation, or simply changing how a request moves through the shop. The service plan will say so when that's the case, and you'll get that instead.

How fast will I see something?

The written plan lands within five business days of the call. Once a service starts you see working output every week, not a status update. I sequence by payback, so the first thing running is normally the one that pays for itself fastest.

What happens to my data?

Data handling is agreed in writing before any work starts. Every service agreement specifies what data I get access to, how it's stored, what happens to it when we're done, and any confidentiality terms you need — scoped to your business rather than a one-size policy. If you operate under specific obligations of your own, bring them to the discovery call and we'll build the terms around them.

Who do you work with?

Small local businesses — roughly one to ten people, owner-operated, where the owner is still doing work that somebody else should be doing. Trades, clinics, shops, restaurants, professional services. On-site in Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Orange counties.

If you're bigger than that I'm probably not the right fit, and I'll tell you so on the call rather than take the fee.
